How many members in a group are allowed to participate in NSIEx2024?Individuals or teams of not more than 5 members and 1 team leader (maximum total of 6 persons per team) are welcome to take part in the competition.

How long does it take to receive the notification of acceptance upon registration?You will be notified within a week after the registration and extended abstract submission.

Is there any publication opportunity for the participants to publish their extended abstracts in any proceeding (with e-ISBN)?All extended abstracts will be published in the e-book with e-ISBN number.

Are we allowed to submit the poster in PDF instead of video?No, you are not allowed to do so. You have to submit the video in MP4 format only for evaluation. Evidence such as patent, video link, citation journal and etc must be scanned in ONE PDF only (if any). Poster is not necessary.

Are the participants required to attend the NSIEx2024 competition on-site?No. The participants are not required to attend the competition and showcase their product in front of the judges on-site. Instead, the participants need to create and submit a 3-5 minutes video presentation of their product to convince the judges.

Are the participants required to attend the award ceremony?No.The award ceremony is held via an online platform. Medal and payment receipt will be posted to your mailing address while the e-Certificate will be emailed.

When will the result for this virtual competition be announced?The result will be announced through PJIM&A Cawangan Negeri Sembilan Youtube Channel on the 10th October 2024. The results will also be displayed on our website after the result announcement.

Do I receive a certificate for this event?Yes, an e-certificate will be emailed within 1 week after the event ends.

How many medals will be awarded to the winners?Only one (1) medal will be awarded for each group.

Can I request additional medals for my team members?Yes, with additional charges. Please fill up the form provided in the website on 10th October 2024 and send it back to us together with the proof of payment. Please submit your request before 17th October 2024 (11:59 pm).

What is the cost for each additional medal?For additional medals, each item will be charged as follows: RM90 (self collect at UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan) RM100 (national - postage cost included) RM180 (international - postage cost included) For any inquiries, please contact : Dr. Boon Yih Tien (+6016-254 7023)

How long does it take for the medal and receipt to be posted?The medal and receipt will be posted within 1 month from the date of result announcement (10th October 2024).

How do we submit our video presentation?It is very easy. The participants are required to upload the video presentation using the link provided in the website.

Will the uploaded video be used by third parties?Your video will only be used for the purpose of participation and judging processes in the competition. It will not be handed to any third parties. Disclaimer: The organizer is not responsible for any IP infringement of the product/project.
